Reframe that to be Self-Contained is a necessary blissful part of your psyche. An example to be self contained is that as a teacher of Kundalini yoga we take an oath: "I am not a woman, I am not a man, I am not a person, I am not myself, I am a teacher" When the intention is clearly set then all that is not in harmony with it will be perceived as a distraction, and prana will not be wasted on what is not essential. To be an integrated and intentional psyche, yogis invoke the 7th body to give the experience and gift of being Self- contained and intentional. We live secure within ourselves, aligned with the intention of our soul. Sit in easy pose, raise the arms to 60 degrees, tuck the fingers into the pads of the palms with thumbs up. Do breath of fire, for 5 1/2 minutes every 3 hours, at the end inhale and bring the thumbs together, hold the breath and apply mul bhand. Eyes are focused at the tip of the nose.
