Tears come so easily these days, all kinds of tears
of joy
of sadness
it seems some valve got opened when I peeked into my heart….

this morning they came when I fell into gratitude

for for the power of love
which even when we’re so super busy creating imaginary walls of separation
like a patient mother
love waits
again and again

for me to soften, to stop all my doing and
to remember
for only in in this being still
can I hear my heart’s song

So much gratitude for your presence in my life
for your heart’s song
for sharing this courageous journey
