We acknowledge the harm caused by Yogi Bhajan and stand unequivocally with the women who have spoken out about their experiences. As teachers of Kundalini Yoga and meditation, we are committed to actively dismantling systems of abuse and silence within this lineage. We are re-evaluating the teachings through a lens of accountability, centering the voices of survivors, and creating spaces rooted in safety, respect, and empowerment. Our work includes transparent dialogue, trauma-informed practices, and ongoing efforts to ensure the well-being of all who join us on this path.

So in the last newsletter I asked: Is kundalini yoga still a thing….. ? This was one response from a fellow yogi: “Hmmm, well I do know that it is the singular thing that saved my life all those years ago, after the Great Recession wiped me out, I just got a divorce, and was suicidally depressed….. it was your and GC’s gift of yoga that brought me back….. I am eternally grateful.” KM
We know that navigating this journey of holding onto the good while letting go of what is no longer relevant can be incredibly difficult. Please know that we’re here to listen, offer support, and walk with you through this process.
Can’t wait to see you on the mat this Saturday!
Keep SHINING
