Letting Go
The report about Yogi Bhajan’s abuse has come out and the findings are deeply disturbing and challenge many of the assumptions we carried about Yogi Bhajan. We commend the courage of those who came forward and for bringing this truth to light. As difficult as it may be to assimilate this information, it provides an opportunity to confront the shadows of the past and to consciously move forward.
This is the declaration for what Purest Potential stands for:
I’ll not tell you what to do but will hold a quiet space for you to rediscover your emotional and physical balance
I will not shift your life and honor that you are your own medicine
I’ll not fix you and will support you to realize that when you cut through the noise you can access your own inner wisdom and sacredness
I will not correct you but will gently remind you to show up curious and with a growth mindset where all mistakes are considered part of the journey to wisdom
I will not lead you but will celebrate your own sense of agency
We hold all in love and light as we let go of what was and search for a path forward where the teachings can prevail without this shadow of duplicity which has hung over the kundalini yoga community for many years.
To our human spirit
with a deep bow
Kirn and Guruchander
