The focus in April is on the fourth body or the heart center. This is ruled by Mars which is the planet of war. So you’re dealing with the polarization of the energies that rule the Heart Center, Brave heart and Saint  heart, the balance between being a soldier and being a saint, the path of the spiritual warrior!

What that means for you is that throughout the day you may express energy that’s a little rougher or you may express energy which is softer. The following meditation will help you to integrate both of these aspects of the heart center, the soldier and the saint so that you can sleep well at night.

MEDITATION: 

  • The hands are in Gyan Mudra: touch the tip of the index finger to the thumb. 
  • Cross the wrists over the heart center with the left touching the heart and the right on top of the left.
  • Eye focus is on the tip of the nose
  • Inhale in four strokes, exhale in one stroke all through the nose
  • Continue for 3  minutes or 31 minutes

This meditation will help you to integrate both aspects of the heart center: the brave heart and the saint heart.  Enjoy this process of finding the balance within these polarities which will give you the experience of living as a yogi all during the month of April.
