Into Presence

Let’s Tune into Neutral!
You know how our minds can be like a wild rollercoaster? Up, down, looping, and sometimes just plain exhausting! In Kundalini, we understand that the mind, specifically our second and third bodies (the negative and positive minds), are designed to help us navigate life. The negative mind keeps us safe, spotting potential dangers, while the positive mind fuels our drive, our optimism. But when they get out of balance, we get stuck in fear or endless chasing.

We’re constantly pulled into the past with regrets or the future with worries. It’s like our mental GPS is always recalculating, never letting us just be here. And honestly, it’s draining! But what if there was a way to find that still point, that place of peace and presence? That’s where the heart, the neutral mind, comes in.

In Kundalini, the heart is considered the portal to presence. It’s where we shift from mental chatter to heart-centered awareness. It’s not about ignoring our minds – we need them! But it’s about shifting our focus. Instead of getting caught up in the endless stream of thoughts, we consciously choose to experience our hearts.

When we’re heart-centered, we’re not stuck in the past or worried about the future. We’re right here, right now, feeling the joy, the peace, the love that’s always available. It’s like finding the “neutral” gear in our mental engine – a place of balance, where we can observe without judgment.

It’s not about pushing away the mind, it is about choosing space for the heart.

Think of it: That feeling of warmth when you see a friend, the peace that floods you during a sunset, the love you feel for your family. That’s your heart, showing you what’s real, what’s now. That’s the neutral mind.

Let’s dive into some heart-centered Kundalini yoga on March 22nd, to experience that the present moment is always here, waiting for us in that sweet, neutral space of our hearts. Come join the journey!

Sat Nam and heart-centered vibes
