Sat Nam The body is wise. It’s not something to manage, control, or direct. It’s actually the storehouse of our undigested emotions — and it shows them to us so compassionately, gently drawing our attention to whatever is ready to be assimilated into wisdom. Life is for learning and transformation. Not just the grand outer distractions of saving the world (although that would be nice too). The real work is inward. The yogic journey is to be in this world, not off it — to be like the swan: in the water, but not wet. To live fully. To experience what is. And not let it change you. Not to carry the pain of the past forward. Not to let it contract you into a reactive version of your original energetic blueprint. This is why we practice. We practice to stay present with what is here now. We practice so the undigested emotions can surface in stillness — not to overwhelm us, but to heal us. The body holds these experiences in so many ways: in our back pain, our eyesight, our fatigue, our patterns. None of it is random. Each sensation is an invitation. Our opportunity is simple, though not always easy: to stop, to feel, and to be present. To listen to the body as the teacher it already is. To allow what has been stored to move, integrate, and resolve — not through force, but through awareness. Presence is the medicine.
And the body knows exactly how to use it. Join us on the 14th for our Kundalini Journey focused on the Physical Body (5th Body) — Wisdom in Form. We’ll explore how the body teaches, how emotions integrate, and how presence becomes practice. and
