Welcome in, *|FNAME|*Nine Nights of Union begins tonight Tonight begins Navaratri, nine nights that celebrate the power that moves all of life. In the yogic view, that power never stands alone. Shakti is movement and Shiva is stillness, and each one flows into the other the way an inhale becomes an exhale and a river shapes its banks while the banks shape the river. Neither comes first and neither ranks higher. Life is the circle they make together. We’ve created a ceremony for these nights, and we’re sharing all of it with you below. Each evening holds one quality and one intention, and each one brings a pair home: stillness and movement, giving and receiving, darkness and light. You begin with Belonging tonight and arrive at Wholeness on the ninth night. There is nothing to memorize and no mantra to get right. You bring a candle, a bowl of water, a stone, a flower, your breath, and your own sound. The times listed for each step are only suggestions. Give each part as long or as short as feels true, and if you have ten minutes instead of forty-five, light the candle, feel the night’s quality in your heart, and speak the intention. If you miss a night, simply rejoin the next one. This ceremony is for every body and every gender, because the circle lives in each of us. Join us from wherever you are. Nine evening ceremonies for Sharad Navaratri, October 11 to 19, 2026. Each night carries one quality of the feminine, one intention, and one Shiva–Shakti pair to bring home. The nightly frameEvery night follows the same eight steps, about 45 minutes, best at dusk. Only the quality, the intention and the pair change. Gather: a candle, a bowl of water, a smooth stone set in a second shallow bowl, and a flower or petals. Set the altar on Night 1 and leave it standing for all nine nights. - Open (3 min). Light the candle: “I honor the stillness that holds.” Touch the water: “I honor the power that moves.”
- Tune the frequency (11 min). Breathe slowly through the heart. Call up the night’s quality as a felt emotion until your body believes it. Then tone it: a long, wordless sound on each exhale, at whatever pitch the feeling wants.
- Stillness (11 min). Sit as the witness, holding the night’s intention lightly. Rest in the pauses at the top and bottom of the breath.
- Movement (11 min). Eyes closed, let the body move in the night’s quality. Keep one thread of the witness alive inside the motion.
- Union (5 min). Sit with your left hand on the belly and your right hand on the heart. Feel right side, left side, then let the midline dissolve.
- Pour (5 min). Pour the water slowly over the stone, naming the night’s pair as it comes home.
- Seal. Speak the night’s intention aloud three times, feeling it as already true. Touch the poured water to crown, brow and heart. Lay the flower on the stone.
- Close. Three long hums, then silence. Snuff the candle and give the water to the garden.
Frequency instead of mantra. A frequency is a feeling held long enough that the body takes it as true. Each night you generate one in the heart, give it your own sound, and let it organize the field. There are no words to get right. The nine nights at a glanceThe nights rise in three arcs: rooting and clearing, creating and nourishing, then wisdom and union. - Feel it: Breathe into the heart and feel fully claimed by life. Tone it low and steady.
- Movement: Slow and heavy. Drop your weight into feet and hips and sway like something rooted.
- Pour: Stillness and movement. The mountain, and the river that runs down it.

- Movement: Bold. Stomp, shake, cut the air with your arms. End with one full minute of perfect stillness.
- Pour: Fierceness and peace.
Nights 4 to 6: creating and nourishingWith the ground clear, the second arc is for creating, receiving, and guarding what you’ve grown. Night 4 · Wednesday, October 14 · JoyCreation as delight: the smile that lights the dark. - Intention: “I create from joy. My delight is generative.”
- Feel it: Let a real smile start in the heart and spread through the whole body. Tone it bright and warm.

- Pour: Emptiness and creation.
Night 5 · Thursday, October 15 · GratitudeThe mothering power that gives without running dry, because it also receives. - Intention: “I receive as fully as I give. I am nourished.”

- Movement: Precise. Clean lines, clear direction, every gesture finished.
- Pour: Boundary and openness.
Nights 7 to 9: wisdom and unionIn the third arc you meet the dark, come out clear, and remember you were whole the entire time. Night 7 · Saturday, October 17 · FearlessnessThe dark itself, bigger than any fear inside it. - Intention: “Nothing in the dark is other than me. I am safe.”
- Feel it: Completely safe in the dark, held by something with no edge. Tone it deep, then let it soften.
- Movement: Tonight, use only the candle. Move slowly in the dark and let anything old fall off you.

- Feel it: Nothing is missing and nothing needs adding. Let the tone come however it comes.
- Movement: Barely any. Let stillness and movement trade places until you can’t tell which is which.
- Pour: Shiva and Shakti. Pour all the water in one long, unbroken stream.
Vijayadashami · Tuesday, October 20The tenth day is the victory, and it takes 15 minutes in morning light. Nothing outside you gets defeated here. What ends is the forgetting. - Feel it: Stand at the altar and feel all nine nights shining through you at once. Hum once, long.
- Speak the nine intentions once each, in order, as plain facts about who you are.
- Name what you carry forward in one sentence.
- Release the altar. Keep the stone as a touchstone, or return it to the land with thanks.
Closing intention: “I am a ray of coherence. I shine, and that is enough.” with Love
