Yogic Numerology Forecast – May: 5th Body — Physical Body (Jupiter)

Number of the month: 5

May carries the number 5, the Physical Body, in coherence with Jupiter. This month brings the teachings into the body. The Physical Body is the vehicle of vitality, presence, and teaching; it balances giving to others with caring for yourself. Jupiter expands knowledge and opportunity.

In its shadow, the body is neglected, or life becomes too material and out of balance. In its strength, you are embodied, steady, and a living example of what you teach. Use May to move, nourish, and honor the body, and to share what you know.

Focus for May: Live it in the body.

Universal Breath practice for the 5th Body — May:

October

Gyan Mudra: touch the tip of your thumb to the tip of your index finger. This mudra gives mastery over the energy of Jupiter — the expression of expansion and knowledge. Mastery gives you control over the positive aspects of Jupiter and helps eliminate negative patterns picked up in this life or a past life.

Position: Resting on the knees.

Breath: Universal Breath — 8 strokes IN through puckered lips · 8 strokes OUT through the nose

Mantra: Sa — Ta — Na — Ma — Wha — He’ — Gu — Ru (one syllable per stroke, silent)

Duration: 11 minutes daily throughout May.

Sit comfortably with a tall spine. Hands in Gyan Mudra resting on the knees. Begin the Universal Breath and continue for 11 minutes. Balances the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. Repeat throughout the day when issues arise around speaking and listening, feeling out of balance (too much sacrifice for others, or too much focus on just your own needs), and you want a deeper connection to your Infinite Self.
